Base Price Purchase Plan
In the season 2008-09, the purchase scheme for the purchase of paddy and coarse grain under the Basic Price Purchase Scheme during the Kharif season was implemented on behalf of the Maharashtra Government through the Federation as the main agent. A total of 264 shopping centers were opened under this scheme. A total of 17,29,414 quintals of sorghum/millet/maize and paddy were purchased during the reporting year.

Vdar distribution scheme
The government has entrusted the task of distribution of ration goods to drought and drought affected areas to the Federation. 35,41,600.78 sq. out of 92 vehicles provided by the government during the reporting year. Ration goods were distributed.
A vital retail outlet
This scheme has been started since the year 1979 in the city of Mumbai as per the suggestion of the state government with the aim of providing means of livelihood to the well-educated unemployed youth and at the same time to provide the citizens with the necessities of life at a fair price. The Federation currently operates 87 retail outlets in Mumbai and 2 in Pune.
Mineral oil
During the reporting year, kerosene has been distributed in Mumbai/Thane ration area and Manmad city and Nashik districts through Wadala and Manmad depots of the Federation as per government policy and the details of kerosene sales through both the depots during the reporting year are as follows.
Mobile ration shops The government has provided 10 mobile ration shops to the federation to supply various items to the Brihanmumbai ration card holders and during the reporting year from this shop Rs. 3,00,000.00 service fee received by the Federation.sunflower During the year under report, the Federation has procured 28,015.26 quintals of sunflower on behalf of NAFED.

The state of Maharashtra is a leader in milk production, and with the aim of providing healthy fodder to the animals and increasing milk production to bring economic stability to small land holding farmers and farm labourers, the Federation has set up factories for the production of animal fodder in the rural areas of Borvihir in Dhule districts and Nepti in Ahmednagar districts. has done
During the year ended March 2009, 19,338 Mt of quality animal feed was produced and 19,301 Mt was sold. The comparative report of the last three years in this regard is as follows. Since February 2008, the factory at Nepti Ahmednagar has been given to run on royalty basis.

With the aim of bringing cooperative societies on the path of progress, efforts are being made to sell Vaibhav animal feed mainly through cooperative societies. It is also supplied through private distributors. During the reporting year, a total of Rs. 13,30 crores turnover.
In the year 2008-09, 4,02,185 MT of total fertilizer has been sold. Compared to the previous year, there has been an increase in the sale of fertilizer in the reporting year and the sale has been made in cash.

In the year 2008-09, the turnover of this department was Rs. 257.92 crores and the gross profit amount in this transaction was Rs. 3,31,08,755/- has been made.
Bhagirath Granular Mixed Fertilizer Division For the year 2008-09, all three Bhagirath Mixture Factories, Aurangabad, Buldhana, Naldurg, of the Federation. May Tons Rs. 400/- plus 4 percent VAT making a total of Rs. 416/- per copy. May 50,000 crores in all the three factories has been commissioned to manufacture Bhagirath mixed fertilizer on royalty basis per tonne. A target of tonnage production was fixed. As per the fixed production target, Bhagirath fertilizer has been produced in all the three factories as follows.

As above, actual production at the end of March 2009 is May. Royalty amount of 30,476 tonnes Rs. 1,26,78,016/- has been received by the Federation. Pumpsets had supplied Oil Engine Pumpsets and Electric Pumpsets as per the demand of the farmers on the loan certificate of Agricultural and Rural Development Bank and District Central Cooperative Bank since 1975. But from the last 4 to 5 years no cases of machinery supply have been received from the bank.
However, the Federation was given the task of supplying pump sets and agricultural implements which are provided on subsidy under the special component scheme and tribal scheme of the government’s agriculture department. 1) H. In the year 2008-09, the turnover of machinery department was Rs. 23.78 lakhs and Rs. 55,77,977/- gross profit has been made.
The Federation has constructed a total of 125 godowns in various districts of Maharashtra with a storage capacity of 2,50,700 mts. There are tons. The said godowns with the help of World Bank N. C. D. C. The warehouses have been constructed under the network scheme implemented through In this godown, the District Marketing Officer stores fertilisers, machinery, food grains, bardana and other materials as required. Apart from that, the goods of member societies, other cooperative societies, fertilizer manufacturing companies, Cotton Marketing Federation, etc. are stored in godowns. Similarly, some godowns have been leased to the Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra State Wakhar Corporation, Central Wakhar Corporation, Seed Corporation. The available storage capacity has been utilized at an average of 71 percent for the period 2007-2008. Information regarding warehouse capacity and capacity utilization is as follows.
